A Preston events company is celebrating 15 years of business.

Events Northern Ltd, which was established in June 2004, is a team of three who manage and produce events for clients across the UK and into Europe.

Now the Penwortham-based company is branching out into running its own events.

Event manager Helen Brady said: “2019 marks an exciting time in the history of the business as we begin to launch our own B2C projects, rather than just client-led projects.

“The first of these events, PlannerFest, is an event for planner and stationery lovers and takes place in Manchester on 27 July.

“We also recently ran a workshop at Society1 entitled ‘How To Bring Your Event Ideas To Life’, aimed at entrepreneurs and organisations that have an event idea but need advice on how to make it a success and achieve its full potential.

“A longer workshop is being planned for Manchester and Becki is writing a book on the same topic.”

Over the past 15 years Events Northern Ltd has worked with the public and private sectors plus not-for-profit organisations, and across industries including health, IT, arts and culture, education and business.

The team specialises in conferences and exhibitions, and regularly runs award ceremonies, workshops, business networking and other corporate events. Projects have ranged from focus groups for 10 people to exhibitions with over 13,000 visitors.

Founder and managing director Becki Cross said: “We want to say a huge thank you to all of our clients, past and present for their continued support, and the same to all of the venues and suppliers we have collaborated with over the past 15 years.

“We are so grateful for the passion and dedication that everyone brings to all our events. 15 years in business has flown by and we are really excited about what the next 15 years will bring!”
