What’s becoming one of Preston’s largest annual events has a new venue.

Preston Guild Hall’s closure means Comic Con needed to find a fresh home.

Deepdale will see the arrival of many weird and wonderful creatures from across the universe, and Blackburn, for the Comic Con.

Started in 2014 the event sees thousands of visitors.

Many of those attending dress up as their favourite sci-fi characters.

Previous Comic Cons have seen stars of Doctor Who, Star Wars and more give talks and appear at the event.

The Comic Con is on Saturday 31 August at the home of Preston North End.

Tickets start from £8 and are available online from Wonky Rocket Events.
