Preston Police say Aidan Craigie, also known as Carter, failed to attend Preston Crown Court on 17 May this year.

Update: Police said Aidan Craigie was arrested during Monday (24 June).

Craigie was due to stand trial in relation to a number of burglary offences in the Ashton-on-Ribble area between January and May.

Police say Craigie is from Ashton and is known to have associated in recent weeks there and in Broadgate, Brookfield, Clayton Brook and Bamber Bridge.

PC Hargreaves said: ”Aidan is using a number of his associates to evade arrest and face trial, but he will make a mistake and when he does, we will be there.”

Craigie is 5’9″, medium build, blue eyes and has grown light brown hair which is longer than it appears in the photo issued by police.
