Police uncovered a car with false plates at the McDonalds drive-thru on Preston Docks.

The vehicle was stopped by police during Sunday (16 June).

Reports came in of police activity at the fast food chain in Mariners Way, Ashton-on-Ribble, just before 2pm.

Lancashire Road Police tweeted: “This car seen on false plates in Preston.

“The correct car having no insurance or MOT and the driver only having a provisional licence.”

The driver was reported and the car was seized by police under a Section 165 order.
