Preston gathered to pay a respectful tribute to those who have given their lives to defend the country.

Armed Forces Day saw a procession through to the Flag Market.

A service of remembrance paid tribute to those killed in conflict and those who continue to serve across the army, navy and air force.

This year’s event, on the Flag Market and spreading out to the Market Hall, included a Spitfire on display by the Market.
