M55 and M6 delays due to crash near Preston

Motorists on the motorways in and around Preston are being warned of delays.

A crash on the M55 at between Junction 1 at Broughton is causing tailbacks to Kirkham. It’s causing delays of up to half-an-hour.

Traffic trying to join the M6 southbound is seeing delays.

There’s also delays on the M6 from Junction 32 back up to Junction 33 due to the same crash.

For anyone heading northbound on the M6 anbd M61 the usual queueing traffic is there on the northbound section.

Delays are expected on all routes until around 6pm on Friday (28 June).
