A man from Inskip has died after the car he was in collided with a hedgerow in Wharles.
The 60-year-old, who has not yet been named, was the driver of the Citroen Picasso when the accident happened at 2.50pm on Sunday June 2.
It is thought he may have had a heart attack at the wheel.
Emergency services attended the scene in Salwick Road and the man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment. He sadly died later that day.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident.

Sgt Michael Higginson, of Lancashire Police’s Tactical Operations team, said: “These are tragic circumstances and my thoughts are with the driver, his family and his friends at this sad time.
“We are appealing for witnesses to come forward and if you saw what happened and have yet to talk to police, please contact us.”
