A new pizza shop is now open in Blackpool Road.
Honest Jon was opened at Lane Ends in late May by owner Kevin Procter.
Kevin, who has previously run two pizza places on the Fylde Coast, says his pizzas are inspired by New York.
He said: “Our pizzas are thin and crispy with loads of toppings, and customers can watch them being made.”
The menu has some interesting twists alongside more standard offerings such as Margherita and Hawaiian. The Red Rose features Bury Black Pudding, and the Quattro is topped with local cheeses Garstang Blue, Inglewhite Buffalo and Grandma Singleton’s Beacon Fell.
According to the menu, every pizza is made with 00 flour, olive oil, sea salt, San Marzano tomatoes and “a pinch of magic”. Side dishes include four varieties of garlic bread plus the likes of chicken goujons and meatballs.

Kevin decided on the move to Preston after his eldest son began studying at Cardinal Newman College.
He said: “My wife and I both studied in Preston and like the city. It’s got a nice buzz. When our eldest started at Newman we thought it’d be good to have a base here.
“We’ve felt very welcome here. It’s especially good being situated across from the Lane Ends pub. Everyone seems to be in a good mood when they leave!
“We’ve had some repeat customers already, now we just need more new customers to find us.”

Kevin bought the premises in March 2018 and waited eight months for planning permission to be granted before beginning refurbishments in October. The name Honest Jon came from a record shop in London where Kevin is a customer.
Honest Jon is open for collection from Tuesday to Thursday 4.30pm to 9.30pm, and Friday and Saturday 4.30pm to 10pm. Kevin has plans to extend opening and begin deliveries in the next couple of weeks.
