Fulwood Leisure Centre pools closed due to ‘technical fault’

A Preston leisure centre has closed its swimming pools due to a technical fault.

Swimmers arriving at Fulwood Leisure Centre were turned away during Sunday (30 June).

It follows a period of closure for the pools in April after another technical fault.

Operator Greenwich Leisure Limited spent hundreds-of-thousands-of-pounds before Christmas on a refurbishment and technical work to its swimming pools.

No information has been given on when the pools will reopen.
