Two of Preston’s best loved celebrities will celebrate a 30 cracking years at St George’s Shopping Centre in June.

Wallace and Gromit will visit St George’s Shopping Centre to meet and greet their fans as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations.

The pair will put on their cheesiest grins to pose for photos at regular intervals throughout the day, on Saturday June 1.

And centre manager Andrew Stringer hopes the pair will feel right at home in Preston, the home city of their creator Nick Park.

He said: “Wallace & Gromit are icons of British screen and people of all ages have enjoyed their animations over the past 30 years.

“We are delighted to be hosting their character appearances here in Preston, where creator Nick Park hails from.

“So come on down for the chance to snap a photo – just don’t forget to say
cheese!”
