A Makers Market will be returning to the city on the second Saturday June.
The city’s Makers Market will be on the Flag Market again after organisers Preston Business Improvement District reached agreement with Preston City Council.
Summer Saturdays take place from the first week of June and Saturday 8 June had been due to see vintage vehicles take over the city’s main square.
BID Preston say the Makers Market will share the Flag Market and a number of the vehicles will be ‘around the Preston Market Hall’ site too.
An estimated 10,000 people visited the first Makers Market on the Flag Market in May.
Kelly Roberts from the Makers Market said: “We are delighted to be back in Preston on the 8th of June, we will take residency again on the flag market. We again have received a lot of interest from local artisans and some further a field wanting to showcase in Preston.
“We have a site visit on Thursday to confirm the use of the space as we will be sharing with a vintage car festival.”
