Preston goes to the polls today for an all-out election.
Every seat in all wards on Preston City Council is up for grabs.
There’s been a lot of ward boundary changes for this election, meaning instead of a ‘thirds’ election every councillor had to stand again.
This means there may be different polling stations for you to vote in as ward boundaries shift.
The total number of councillors on the city council has been reduced by nine due to the boundary changes.
The Democracy Club, a group of digital volunteers, have put together a postcode search so you can put your postcode and it tells you where your nearest polling station is.
Polling stations are open 7am to 10pm on Thursday (2 May).
This will also work for South Ribble Borough Council or any other council which is holding an election across the country.
