Police want to trace woman after Preston city centre thefts

Police have released a picture of a woman they want to speak to after a theft in Preston city centre.

A man in his 60s was targeted with £300 taken during an incident on 13 April.

Kurline Scott, 33, of East Cliff, is wanted by police in connection with a number of thefts.

She is described as black, average build, with nose and lip piercings.

Scott often wears different coloured wigs and has links with Birmingham.

PC Rachel Phillips said: “We are appealing for information about Scott’s whereabouts.

“We believe she could target elderly residents and we would urge them to be vigilant.

“Anyone who knows where she is urged to contact police immediately.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or email 2744@lancashire.pnn.police.uk quoting log 0729 of April 13.
