Police chase through Fulwood roads after attempt to steal a car

A police chase took place down a number of Fulwood roads during the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.

Preston Police were called to reports of a car being stolen in Harrison Road, Fulwood.

The incident around 3.30am on Monday (27 May) saw a member of the public reported a Toyota was being stolen off a drive after thieves had broken into a works van.

Two men made off in the vehicle and it was abandoned a short distance away on the driveway of another property.

Police didn’t manage to apprehend the two men involved who made off, despite the presence of the police helicopter.
