Man charged for using threatening behaviour outside a Preston mosque

A man has been charged with threatening behaviour outside a Preston mosque.

Preston Police were in attendance during the incident in North Road around 10pm on Friday 24 May.

The incident took place outside the City Mosque, Preston.

John Smith, 50, of Dawson Walk, is charged with using threatening behaviour and also being in possession of a weapon.

He was released on bail and is due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court on 20 June.
