Polie have charged a man with the murder of a 50-year-old man in Deepdale.

Steven May was found inside a property in Raven Street during Monday 20 May.

Following a post mortem examination a murder investigation was launched after his body had a number of injuries including multiple fractures.

Police closed off Raven Street on Saturday (25 May) as they launched their investigation and they have now charged Darren Taylor, 44, of no fixed address, with murder.

He will appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court during Tuesday (28 May).

Police are continuing to appeal for any information in relation to Mr May’s death.
