The road under a railway bridge in Fulwood has reopened.

Lytham Road has been shut since late-February.

Network Rail needed to complete waterproofing and structural repairs to the bridge.

The work was twice-delayed due to over-running and the road reopened during Friday (10 May).

In late March the reopening of Lytham Road was delayed due to ‘challenges’ faced by the contractor and a new date of 18 April set.

That came and went and the closure was kept on until the new date in May.
