Former Lancaster Road shop due to become new home for solicitors

A solicitors is preparing to move into a listed-building in Preston city centre.

A&M Solicitors has instructed Jenkins Design Services to table plans for 58 Lancaster Road.

Next door to the Guild Ale House and the Golden Cross, the former shop is due for conversion.

What was Elixxyr is due to be brought back into use.

The row of buildings opposite the Town Hall are grade-II listed.

Work is needed on the building to replace the shop front and re-configure the inside of the building.

A&M are specialists in criminal and immigration law and are currently based in Stoneygate.

They are proposing to bring the whole four floors of the building back into use.
