Bus shelters in Bamber Bridge’s main street are vandalised

New look bus shelters in Bamber Bridge have been vandalised.

Installed as part of major work in Station Road in recent months vandals have struck.

Blog Preston was sent pictures of the bus stops outside Morrisons with glass shattered across the pavement.

South Ribble Borough Council’s cabinet member for environment councillor Susan Jones said: “The Council was made aware of the vandalism of a bus stop in the Bamber Bridge area.

“The bus stop in question was responded to quickly and has now been cleared of glass and the area has been made safe.

“Quick responses to incidents such as these are essential for public confidence in our service and full repairs to the bus stop are expected in the next week or so.”
