A vigil for the victims of Sunday’s terror attacks in Sri Lanka will be held on the Flag Market at 6pm this evening (Tue 23 April).
Preston Faith Forum has arranged the event, with representatives from churches, mosques and other faith groups uniting to pay their respects.
Candles will be lit and prayers will be said from across the faith groups, to remember the 321 people who died when bombs exploded at hotels and churches in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.
The Mayor of Preston Cllr Trevor Hart will join mourners in Preston and around the world to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the attacks.
