Although the bollard has not been there since May last year the plinth’s structure has been catching out drivers, despite a traffic cone being placed on the structure.

A Freedom of Information Request from Blog Preston showed the county council has been paying out to drivers who hit the structure.

Traffic was slowed on Fishergate while the taxi was moved and recovered.
