A man is wanted after an armed gang broke into a flat off New Hall Lane.
Update: Police say Frankie Dwyer has now been arrested during Thursday (11 April) evening
Preston Police were called after three men approached a property in Derby Square.
Carrying knives and crowbars the property was broke into and a purse containing cash was taken.
Preston Police now want to find Frankie Dwyer in connection with the incident which took place on Tuesday 26 March.
The 29-year-old, of Acregate Lane, is wanted by police.
Dwyer is described as white, 5’11”, slim, with short, light-brown hair, brown eyes and a light brown moustache.
Police say he has links with Ribbleton and Preston city centre.

PC Paul Moseley said: “Dywer is wanted by officers in connection with a serious offence.
“We would urge anyone who knows where he is not to approach him, but instead contact police providing a description of his clothing.”
A 40-year-old man from Preston was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and released under investigation.
