Police want to trace a man after a woman in the city was threatened.

Mohammed Saleem Khan is wanted in connection with offences of assault, threats to kill and engaging in coercive behaviour.

The 47-year-old is wanted by police.

Preston Police say the allegations were reported in March by a woman in her 30s from the Preston area.

Khan is 6′, medium build, with dark-brown grey hair and a receeding hair line.

He has links to Preston and Burnley areas.

PC Paul Moseley, of Lancashire Police, said: “Khan is wanted by police in connection with several serious offences.

“If you see Khan, please do not approach him. Instead call police providing a description of his clothing.

“Furthermore I would urge Khan to come forward and speak with police as soon as possible.”
