Police find man dead in Lostock Hall flat

A heavy police presence in Lostock Hall during Thursday was due to the death of a man.

South Ribble Police confirmed they were called at 12.20pm on Thursday (4 April).

Officers attended reports of a sudden death at address in Watkin Lane, Lostock Hall.

The road was closed and forensic vans in place at the flat opposite the Spar shop.

A 35-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
