Firefighters pulled a person to safety after they fell down an embankment close to the River Ribble.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Penwortham to Broadgate around 4pm on Thursday (18 April).
They were called after reports someone has tripped and fallen near the cycle path in Broadgate and gone down the embankment close to the river.
When crews arrived they found the person was conscious and brought them to safety using a triple extension ladder.

North West Ambulance Service were in attendance and treated the person at the scene.
