Mercedes driver injured in M6 collision

A driver was injured in the collision on M6 northbound

A driver suffered a broken ankle in a collision on the M6 last night.

At around 1am a BMW collided with the central reservation and came to a stop in third lane northbound between junctions 32 and 33.

A Mercedes then collided with the BMW, causing the driver ankle injuries.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the outside lane was closed in both directions due to damage to the barriers.

Lancs Road Police said: “Possible broken ankle sustained by the Mercedes driver but thankfully everyone relatively OK.”
