Fishergate bus lane to be closed overnight for resurfacing works

Urgent repair work in Preston city centre is to see one of the city’s main streets closed.

Fishergate is being closed to traffic overnight on Thursday (25 April) and on Thursday (2 May).

Urgent resurfacing work is needed on the Fishergate bus lane.

Preston Bus is advising passengers the 89 service is being diverted via Ring Way and Corporation Street for its 22:20 and 22:50 services.

Passengers are advised to board at Preston Bus Station and Preston Railway Station.

Fishergate will be closed to traffic on both nights from 10pm to 6am.
