Easter Sunday delays on the M6 after crash

Drivers heading out on Easter Sunday are facing congestion on the M6 at Preston due to a crash.

One lane was closed just before Junction 32 at Broughton.

Highways England said they had removed the vehicle but the incident has caused knock-on delays.

The M61 from junction 8 is already busy with queueing traffic back from where it joins the M6 and delays of more than 15 minutes.

The M6 itself from Junction 29 northbound is seeing delays of up to 15 minutes against normal journey times through to Junction 32 for the M55 junction.
