Prestonians are being advised to keep their Easter Eggs in the fridge as we’re set for warm temperatures for the holiday weekend.
Highs of 22 degrees will be reached during the Easter bank holidays.
Here’s a look at what the weather looks like throughout the weekend and into the early part of next week if you’re still off on holiday.
Looks like it will be a great weekend for getting out and about.
Afternoon – Sunny spells and highs of 19 degrees, a light breeze
Evening – If you’re heading out for the Tokes reunion night, you won’t need a jacket. It’s 12 degrees through until midnight.
Morning – Up to 13 degrees by 9am and wall-to-wall sunshine
Afternoon – Lunchtime is perfect for an alfresco pint, 20 degrees
Evening – A glorious evening to start your weekend with sunshine through until sunset at 8pm and temperatures of 17 degrees

Morning – A little bit of cloud cover in the morning but sun breaking through quickly and 17 degrees by 11am
Afternoon – The highest temperatures of the weekend as we hit 22 degrees
Evening – Another wonderful evening weather wise, it’s 19 degrees at 6pm as you start the BBQ
Morning – Another bright morning, a little bit of cloud cover but up to 15 degrees by 10am, if you’re out doing your egg hunt you won’t need a coat
Afternoon – Sunshine from 1pm, no breeze, perfect for an Easter walk out
Evening – It’s still 19 degrees at 7pm
Morning – Egg rolling day! And it won’t be a mudbath in Avenham Park. 14 degrees by 9am

Afternoon – It’s 20 degrees by lunchtime and expected to be wall-to-wall sunshine all afternoon
Evening – Cooling off to 17 degrees by 8pm and a little bit of cloud cover overnight
Morning – Back to work for some, and it’s a very pleasant 12 degrees at 7am
