Crash damages front of house in Avenham Lane

A house within a Conservation Area in Preston has been damaged when a driver crashed into the front of it.
The property in Avenham Lane has seen extensive damage to its front door and wall.
Emergency services were on the scene around 1pm on Saturday (6 April).
No one is thought to have been hurt in the crash and LancsLive reported the driver is understood to have fled the scene.
Preston Police closed the road for a short period while a recovery truck extracted the car.
