These are the luxury homes due to be built on the outskirts of Preston.

Developer David Price has seen work start on the six properties.

Facing onto the Lancaster Canal the land is just off Lea Road and near Bridge House in Lea and Cottam.

Artist impressions show the scale of the houses due to be built with gardens running right down to the canal.

All of the homes are due to have five bedrooms, along with their own garages.

Planning permission was granted in December last year and Mr Price has applied to lift a number of the conditions attached.

Edgewater Oaks is the name given to the development and in an Instagram post, Price, who runs 10ACIA Property revealed it was a £4million development.
