Traffic delays after collision in Ribbleton

Police are dealing with a collision in Ribbleton which happened at 3.25 this afternoon.
AdvertisementEmergency services were called to the junction of Ribbleton Avenue and Cromwell Road to reports of a crash involving a VW Golf.
An elderly woman suffered injuries in the collision but it is not yet clear how serious they are.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route where possible.
