Teenage girl stabbed near Fulwood park

A teenage girl remains in hospital after being stabbed in Fulwood.
Preston Police closed off a footpath between Levensgarth Avenue and Southey Close during Friday (1 March).
One female has been arrested in connection with the attack. No age has been given for the female who has been arrested.
Police confirmed to Blog Preston a girl was taken to Royal Preston Hospital and her injuries ‘aren’t thought to be life-threatening’.
Blog Preston understands the girl is 17-years-old. Police have now confirmed her age and made a second arrest.
A dimly lit footpath remains under scene watch by police with forensic officers due at the scene following the attack which took place around 7.30pm.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 1309 but police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this stage.
