As Preston North End continue their march towards a play-off push a bumper crowd is expected for the visit of Birmingham City.
Lowthorpe Road is being closed during Saturday (16 March) as the Blues make the visit to Deepdale.
PNE recorded an away win at Middlesbrough to put themselves right in contention for a march to 6th or beyond in the Championship.
Sergeant Paul McLernon has issued a notice to residents in Lowthorpe Road about the arrangements for Saturday.
He said: “As a result of the expected large attendance and a higher than expected number of coaches for this fixture, Lowthorpe Road will be closed for a period before, during and after the match.
“I hope that these arrangements do not unduly affect access to your property. However, I would ask that careful consideration is given to travel arrangements to and from your property within these times.
“We understand the inconvenience that this causes to residents and we will of course make every effort to oepn the road as quickly as possible once it is safe to do so.”
