Drugs raids in Avenham have uncovered class A drugs, knives and cash.

Preston Police raided two properties in Avenham.

It followed intelligence gathered in relation to drug-dealing in the area.

Preston Magistrates’ Court granted two warrants to raid the two addresses during Tuesday (26 March) lunchtime.

Three people were arrested following the raids and a large quantity of cash, weapons and class A drugs were taken off the streets.

Anyone with information about suspected drug-dealing in the city is asked to call police on 101.
