Maintenance work on a rail bridge in Preston is due to finish this week.

Network Rail has closed off a section of Lytham Road since late February.

Waterproofing and structure work has been undertaken on the bridge, which supports the West Coast mainline.

A diversion route has been in place using Cadley Causeway and Blackpool Road around Fulwood since Monday 25 February.

Access on the route under the bridge has also been closed to pedestrians.
