Police have clarified a knife was found following an incident of disorder in Penwortham.
South Ribble Police described a ‘melee’ taking place involving 12 young people in Liverpool Road on Tuesday (26 March).
An update has now been given on the four arrests made.
One of two 17-year-old boys from Preston who were arrested on suspicion of possession has been released without charge.
Another 17-year-old boy from Preston has been released pending further investigation. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife/bladed article.
The 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a police chase into Pope Lane has been bailed with strict conditions until 24 April.
A 19-year-old woman, from Preston, who assisted an offender has been bailed with similar strict conditions until 24 April.
South Ribble Police said a baseball bat and knife were recovered from the scene.

Police put in a Section 60 stop and search order in Lower Penwortham and Broadgate during Tuesday evening. They said there are no plans at this stage to repeat this for either Thursday or the weekend.
