Emergency services were called to a house in Frenchwood following reports a man had died.
Police, paramedics and a rapid response vehicle attended the house in James Street at around 6.30pm.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: “We were called to a private address at 18:31 and attended with 2 ambulances, an RRV and advanced paramedic. Nobody was taken to hospital.”
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
