Drivers of electric cars will be able to charge their vehicles soon at a service station just off the M6.
Preston East Services at Bluebell Way has applied to install four ‘ultra-fast’ electric vehicle charging stations.
Two canopies are also being put in to protect drivers and their cars from the elements.
Euro Garages Ltd operate the service station.

Engineering firm SPIE UK are due to undertake the work if the planning application is approved.
