A shop owner has released a picture after a suspected theft at their premises in Preston city centre.

Cash in a Dash was targeted during 22 December 2018.

A laptop was taken from a display in the shop in Church Street.

A CCTV picture of a man police want to speak to in connection with the incident has been released.

Ben Hunter-Scott Wearden from the shop said: “The laptop was taken from the shop window just before Christmas. We’re a family-run business.

“We unfortunately lost the CCTV at first but have now been able to recover it and passed it to police.

“The window where entry was gained is usually locked, but it had been broken the week before and we were awaiting a new piece of glass with a lock fitted.”
