A patch of land next-door to a closed pub in the Plungington area is to be redeveloped.
Graham Anthony Associates have lodged plans to build a two-storey block of flats in the area.
The land, which was a car park, sits between the former New Welcome pub and the still trading Princess Alice in Cambridge Walk, off Aqueduct Street and Garstang Road.
Plans to the city council state the development would ‘contribute to the council’s supply of deliverable affordable housing within a highly sustainable location’.
