A consultancy firm has chosen Preston to be its base for an expansion into Lancashire.

Winning Pitch says due to ‘increased demand’ it is opening the office in the city.

Preston Docks at the Albert Edward House will be home to the firm, which was started in 2005, and has offices in Manchester, Leeds and Wales.

Chief executive Jim Keane said: “There’s no doubt that the growth of businesses that we’ve supported in Lancashire has contributed to our company expansion plans by opening an office in the county.

“Over the next three years we’ll continue to help new and established Lancashire businesses to reach their growth potential by tapping into our considerable experience of helping businesses scale their operations.”

The firm works closely with Boost, which helps fund and advise start-up firms and small businesses across Lancashire.

Head of business growth and innovation at Lancashire County Council Andy Walker said: “Winning Pitch has built a strong working relationship with Lancashire County Council, helping Lancashire start-ups and SMEs to succeed.

“We are delighted they have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to Lancashire businesses by establishing an office here in Preston.”
