After four decades of service one of Britain’s iconic warplanes is to make its final flight.

The Tornado is being retired from service.

Preston is braced to hear the roar overhead on one of three farewell flights.

BAE Samlesbury and BAE Warton staff will be out to see the plane’s flight during Tuesday 19 February. Exact timings have now been confirmed.
