Police want to trace a red car following an incident in Deepdale.
Three men were arrested in East Street during the early hours of Monday (4 February).
Preston Police say they were called to reports of an altercation around 12.35am.
Detective Inspector Nick Hills of Preston CID said: “This incident came in to us from a third party, so at the minute it isn’t clear what happened and we have had had no complaints from anybody who may have been a victim.
“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the offence? Did you see a red car being driven towards the scene or making off from the area?
“If you have any information that can help with our enquiries we would urge you to contact us as soon as possible.”
Police have confirmed to Blog Preston the arrests were made in relation to an abduction.
The 28-year-old man from Preston was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and abduction.
The 34-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and abduction.
The 30-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and abduction.
Two of the men, the 34-year-old and 30-year-old, have been released without charge and are being transferred to custody of immigration officials pending deportation to Albania.
