Teenage cyclist being treated after Penwortham crash

The air ambulance has been called out to Penwortham after a crash.

A teenager is being treated at the scene in Hill Road.

South Ribble Police confirmed they were called at 8.42am on Monday (4 February).

A car and a 13-year-old male cyclist were involved in a collision.

A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service confirmed a teenage boy had been treated at the scene.

She said the boy had now been taken to hospital by air ambulance.

The crash took place at the junction of Hill Road and Liverpool Road.
