Police uncovered a haul of prescription drugs when they stopped a suspicious
Honda Civic in Salisbury Street, Fishwick, on Friday night.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after a search of the car revealed more than 1,000 drugs including steroids, viagra, valium and pregabalin.
The driver had multiple mobile phones and a large quantity of cash on him.
The driver and passenger’s homes were then searched and a further 2,000 tablets and capsules were found along with two more mobile phones.

A police spokesman warned people over the safety of prescription drugs, saying: “Prescription drugs should be sold by licensed pharmacists ONLY and not out the back of a Honda Civic!”
