Police close off Miller Road and Pope Lane in Ribbleton

Police have closed off part of a major road in Ribbleton.
From the early hours of Thursday (7 February) Miller Road and Pope Lane has been taped off.
Update: Police confirmed a murder investigation has been launched
A forensics tent is in position and a number of police vehicles.
The incident has taken place near Ribbleton Clinic in Langden Drive.
One nearby resident told Blog Preston the police helicopter had been circling during the morning.
