Plans have been submitted for nine new homes in Broughton.

The proposed scheme would see the new dwellings built on agricultural land off Whittingham Lane.

The house types have not been finalised, but the application states parking and garden spaces will be provided.

Consultation is underway, and notification of the planning application has been sent to neighbours. The deadline for comments is 3 March.

The application, submitted by Goosnargh Properties Ltd, will be determined under delegated powers by an officer of the Council rather than being considered by the Planning Committee.
