Bluebells Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, in Longsands Lane, was rated ‘Good in all areas’ by the education regulator, who reported that children at the setting are “happy, safe and secure.”

Speaking of the level of care and education at Bluebells, the inspector said, “Staff keep parents updated with information about children’s interests to inform planning and children’s next steps, in order to further support learning in the nursery and at home.

“All children make good progress from their individual starting points, including those who speak English as an additional language.”

The report also made reference to the nursery’s “nutritious meals”, children who develop “good self-care and independence skills” and the setting’s “well resourced” environments.

The nursery – which is part of the Just Childcare family of day nurseries – opened in 2016 and features a large sensory room, outdoor courtyard and wide selection of exciting learning resources.

Claire Thompson, Bluebells nursery manager, said: “The Bluebells team work so hard to create an environment where our children are nurtured, inspired and have fun every day, so we’re very happy that our Ofsted report reflects this.

“We’re particularly proud of the comments the inspector made about our wonderfully behaved children and the strong relationships we have with our parents.
