Watling Street Road is closed for day-time roadworks for three days and homeowners nearby say traffic has been going the wrong way near Kennington Primary School.

One resident, who asked not to be named, told Blog Preston: “There are tons of people disregarding the one-way system in Holmfield Road.

“”There’s been almost three accidents in the space of 10 minutes this morning.

“There’s a primary school here and it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.”

The resident also said motorists had been aggressive to those undertaking the roadworks in Watling Street Road.
